Our Story

Born in the Grain Belt of India

SR Trader was founded in 2006 in Khanna, Punjab — one of India's busiest grain markets and the agricultural heartland of the nation. What started as a small rice trading operation has grown into a trusted wholesale supplier of rice, wheat, pulses, spices, edible oils, and more.

Our founder's deep connections to Punjab's farming community gave us a head start that no business plan could replicate — direct access to farmers, mandis, and processing units that most traders only dream of. Two decades later, those relationships remain the foundation of everything we do.

Today SR Trader supplies retailers, restaurants, hotel chains, food processors, and exporters across 28 Indian states with over 500 agri-commodity SKUs.
